October is Children’s Health Month
October 23-27 is Red Ribbon week!
We will be reinforcing the message "I won't fall for drugs." Special activities are planned all week:

Walk to School Day was October 4th! (www.walktoschool.org)
Escape School came back to Sand Pine by popular demand and was attended by about 200 students & parents. Escape School is a community service program sponsored by Dignity Memorial Gardens and was brought to us by Stowers Funeral Home and Brandon Chapel. A video was shown followed by an interactive demonstration with the kids. The event taught us to be safe and be smart by showing us techniques to avoid abduction situations.
